A radial engine is a type of internal combustion engine where the cylinders are arranged radially around a central crankshaft, like the spokes of a wheel. It is best known for its high power-to-weight ratio, air-cooling efficiency, and mechanical reliability.

Radial engines were widely used in aircraft, especially during World War I and II, because they deliver strong performance, effective cooling, and durability under extreme conditions.

This project was completed purely for practice, with the goal of strengthening my skills and exploring advanced features of SolidWorks. It consists of 40+ unique parts, multiple sub-assemblies, and a fully integrated engine assembly.

Despite my term finals approaching, I dedicated significant time and effort to this project. The experience sharpened my technical expertise, improved my problem-solving abilities, and reinforced the importance of patience and perseverance in engineering design.
